The project also features the Unity Underpass\, which includes public art by Reginald Adams\, created with contributions from more than 200 community members. \nTogether\, these new additions enhance mobility\, safety\, and access to nature while celebrating Austin’s commitment to active transportation and vibrant public spaces. \nAll are welcome to attend\, explore\, and be part of this exciting new chapter for our city. \nThere are three entrances to the Wishbone Bridge: \n\nSouth of Longhorn Dam (entrance to the Unity Underpass)\nNorth of Longhorn Dam at the end of Canterbury St.\nNorth of the Longhorn Dam at the end of the old Holly peninsula\n\nParking is available at Krieg Field.

Recently planted native trees\, shrubs\, wildflowers\, and natural spring water provide excellent habitats for a variety of bird species. As TTC restores this section of the Buter Trail\, there will be a change of birds\, so you’ll want to come on this monthly walk! \nBird walks are: \n\n1-2 miles long\, completed in around 3 hours\nBeginner-friendly (all levels are welcome)\nOn mostly flat terrain (dissolved gravel trail and sidewalks)\nWe have binoculars to lend to anyone who doesn’t have a pair\n\n  \nRegistration is required and is limited to 10 participants.

Whether you’re seeking relaxation\, clarity\, or simply a moment to breathe\, this session will leave you feeling refreshed\, grounded\, and deeply connected to the world around you. \nBrooke Mellen\, founder of Cultured Forest\, will lead this experience. Brooke studied Forest Bathing in Japan and holds a certificate in Forest Medicine. Cultured Forest has been featured on the Today Show\, WSJ Magazine\, and Vogue. \nThis class will involve a 1/2 mile on easy terrain. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes.
