DESCRIPTION:American YouthWorks’ Texas Conservation Corps crews\, St. Edward’s University and Friends of McKinney Falls State Park are partnering to provide trail maintenance and support visitor experience in the Park. Tools\, supplies and light lunch will be included. No conservation experience necessary\, all are welcome to attend!\n\n——–\n\n\nJoin the 30th annual National Public Lands Day\, the nation’s largest single-day volunteer effort for public lands. NPLD volunteers are essential to the success of conservation and improvement projects nationwide. Over 70\,000 participants will join in trail maintenance\, clean-ups\, tree planting\, invasive species removal\, and exciting activities like hikes and more!\n\n\n\n \n\nFor 30 years\, NPLD has brought communities together to care for and celebrate our incredible public lands. You can also explore federal public lands without admission fees.\n\n\n\n \n\nRoll up your sleeves and experience the satisfaction of hands-on work and outdoor activities. NPLD not only benefits our environment but also provides health benefits by spending time in nature and meeting like-minded people in your community.
