SUMMARY:Denied Music and Mod Bikes present : FINLEY (Soul Clap\, Superfreq)
DESCRIPTION:From MOD Bikes –\nDenied Music & MOD BIKES team up to bring you… \nFINLEY\n(Superfreq\, Soul Clap\, Get Physical\, Nervous\, Tilted\, Denied Music – Boston) \nGlenfiddich Scotch Whisky will be providing samples. Limited space is available. Make sure to RSVP for entry. 5$ donation at the door. \nFINLEY \nhttps://soundcloud.com/deep-house-london/finley-dhl-mixtape-086 \nThe bastard son of SONA. If you don’t know her\, educate yourself. \nIt was an era that FINLEY was brought up in and moulded him into who he is today. “Tech-no” you say? “ Tech- yes” says FINLEY; inspired by marathon sets at the history filled SONA nightclub. \nHis inspirations led him to the decks in 1998 and over the next few years\, he honed his skills while picking up residencies throughout New England underground parties\, including the well-known SUNDAY NIGHT MASS in Burlington\, VT. Then it was off to school to learn the precious art and science of audio engineering at Full Sail University\, where his productions first saw the light of night. \nLow Tide provided a platform to release original music and remixes on labels including Dilate Records\, Motek\, and Inside out alongside artists Dance Spirit\, Kosmas\, Miguel Puente\, Silky\, Jonny Cruz\, Balcazar & Sordo\, and others. With upcoming solo releases on Faceless\, Sullivan Room Records\, NOSI Music\, and endless hours in the studio creating\, FINLEY is right on time. \nHis understanding and true love for the scene can be heard throughout his productions and dj sets. Sexy\, multi-layered\, melodic tunes\, mixed with a bit of his techno and R&B roots\, make for an incredible journey every time. \nDANIEL ALLEN (Viva Recordings\, Red Ant\, Denied Music) \nhttps://soundcloud.com/daniel-allen/daniel-allen-resonance-webhouse-san-antonio-january-2019 \nAkin to the mysterious sea anemone\, Daniel Allen’s sensibilities extend from deep underground straight up to the glimmering surface. Since his start in ’89\, he’s had his tentacles in everything — 80s\, drum & bass\, house\, techno\, and all fusions thereof — giving his DJ sets a riveting\, tactile quality. \nYoung junglist Dizzy emerged from Houston’s after-hours spots in the 90s. Then a decade later\, with an entire record shop at his fingertips while working at Chemistry\, a more cultivated Daniel Allen dove into production. For the last ten years\, he’s continued to mix his palette with unwavering meticulousness\, garnering the support of labels Audiophile Deep\, BluFin\, Bush Records\, Harmonious Discord\, Headset Recordings\, Panhandle Records\, Whiskey Pickle\, and several others. The last three years alone caught the attention of Viva Recordings\, Red Ant Records\, Picknik\, Tilted\, Beatamin\, Marinated Music\, The Pool House\, and Something Different Again. Still in scope’s view\, and swimming deep in A&R\, DJing\, and a flood of remixes\, collaborations and solo work\, he’s inevitably delved into live performance — proving that Daniel Allen’s three-decades-deep passion continues to take him\, and his listeners\, to new frontiers. \nBetween steering the helm of misfit record label Denied Music and studio work\, he can be found at his residencies at renowned Austin venue Plush and Techno Club in New Orleans. \nMISHKA (SET & SETTING)
