Hayes\nModerator: Tweed Roosevelt\, Great grandson of Theodore Roosevelt\n\n6:00-6:30 p.m.               Arrivals + The American Experiment exhibit access\n6:30-7:45 p.m.               Panel featuring presidential descendants\n7:45-8:45 p.m.               Reception + The American Experiment exhibit access \nAdvance registration is requested. This event is open to Friends Of The LBJ Library members. You can learn more about becoming a member here. \nAbout The American Experiment Exhibit \nThrough an exceptional partnership with the National Archives and Records Administration and the Briscoe Center for American History\, the Library will showcase extraordinary original documents that have shaped the course of American history. Across four rotating exhibitions on display May 30 through January 10\, visitors will encounter defining moments—from the Brown v. Board of Education decision and the Fourteenth Amendment to the Louisiana Purchase and the Wright Brothers’ Flying Machine Patent. \nDocuments on display on June 4th will include President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Day of Infamy Speech\, the treasury warrant for the purchase of Alaska\, deed of gift for the Statue of Liberty\, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo\, the Alien Enemies Act of 1798\, and President Woodrow Wilson’s April 2\, 1917 joint address to Congress leading to a declaration of war against Germany\, among others. \n  \nLocation and Parking \nThe conversation will be hosted in the 10th floor Atrium of the LBJ Presidential Library. Free parking will be available at the LBJ Library visitors’ lot located at 2313 Red River Street.
