DESCRIPTION:From the LBJ Presidential Library –\nAs Austin’s population and development continue to boom\, the city’s housing options are becoming less and less affordable for people with low income\, working-class residents\, middle-class families\, students\, and many others. At this critical time\, the LBJ Future Forum is convening a diverse group of leaders and community members to discuss some of the best ideas\, plans\, and ongoing efforts to ensure equitable housing options for all Austinites. \nRegistration: 6-6:30 p.m.\nDiscussion: 6:30-7:30 p.m. \nA reception will follow the panel\, and attendees are encouraged to continue the conversation over drinks and light bites. \nPanelists \n\nRaul Alvarez\, Executive Director\, Community Advancement Network\nNatasha Harper-Madison\, Councilmember\, City of Austin\nConor Kenny\, Planning Commission Member\, City of Austin\nHeather Way\, Director\, Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic and Professor\, UT School of Law\nModerator: Chris Neely\, Austin City Hall reporter\, Community Impact\n\nAttend\nThis program is free and open to the general public.
