SUMMARY:Interactive Climate Negotiation Role Play Game
DESCRIPTION:From the Faith & Energy Action Team –\nDATE: THIS  THURSDAY\,  JANUARY 21  7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPLACE: FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH  703 S Church St.  Georgetown\, TX\nPRESENTER:  Robert Murray\, former manager of Seattle Power environmental activist with Climate Buddies in Austin\, and an engineer by profession.\n \n\nThe Interactive  Climate Negotiation Role play game was used to train negotiators  in the December Paris Climate Conference.  Bob\, who has experienced some of the training himself\, will explain this powerful tool and guide us in experiencing  a shortened version of it through small group interaction.  He states:  ” Participating as a negotiator or a special interest (i.e. role for fossil fuel companies) is amazingly real and can be transformative.”  He notes that this negotiation process focuses on how everyone  in the world (all parties) will be winners in addressing the climate issues and thus it promotes a sense of hope.  Come  join us in a great experience.
