DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Excellence and Advancement Foundation –\nHealing in the Village is a community collaborative working to create a healing environment for children in our community. We’re focused on finding solutions for healing childhood trauma and closing racial disparities in physical\, emotional and social outcomes through professional development and institutional awareness and reform. We’re committed to shifting the public discourse about race and trauma in our community and making Austin a safer\, more equitable place to live\, work and study. \nThe Family Healing Festival will be a fun way for youth and families to engage with mind\, body and spirit healing practitioners to promote healing and wellness in our community. \nJoin us at the festival for good music\, food\, activities for the children and great community fun!
