DESCRIPTION:From Edible Austin –\nBring a blanket\, sit in the sunshine\, plant a square foot garden\, meet farmers and enjoy bites from local food vendors. There will be live music\, storytelling and endless activities! \nPlan your trip to Rosewood Park using CapMetro or ride your bike!\nClosest bus stops: Route 6\, Stop 1819 12th and Chicon or Route 2\, Stop 1909 Rosewood and Chicon \nBike racks will be provided at the Pleasant Valley entrance as well as the entrance to the parking lot on Chestnut Ave. Remember to bring your own lock!\nFind out what trails lead to the Picnic through the city’s Trail Directory or find out more about biking in Austin here. \nThere are four parking lots surrounding Rosewood Park (one off Pleasant Valley\, one off Chestnut Ave. and two off Rosewood Ave.) that have a total of 6 ADA parking spaces. The lots on Pleasant Valley and Chestnut will otherwise be reserved for vendors and event staff. Public parking can be found at the Rosewood Ave. parking lots as well as within free spaces along public streets. \nWe encourage alternate routes of transportation like bus and biking options above.
