Two Hives Honey and Myco Alliance will have have on-site activities and demonstrations. \nOther activities include a citizen scientist scavenger hunt and a native seed bomb making station. \nThere will be prizes and cake!

SUMMARY:Volunteer Mornings at Circle Acres
DESCRIPTION:From Ecology Action –\nCircle Acres  is a 10 acre nature preserve and green infrastructure demonstration site. Ecology Action is working to clean and protect the land here\, which has suffered decades of destructive uses as a quarry\, landfill and illegal dumping site – but is now becoming a beautiful natural resource for the surrounding Montopolis neighborhood\, and all of Austin! \nVolunteer days involve maintaining walking trails\, removing litter\, and making green infrastructure improvements to storm-water access points like culverts and tributary breaches. \nBring water and dress for the weather with sturdy\, closed-toe shoes. We recommend lightweight but long sleeve and pants for the summer. \nEntrances to Circle Acres are located off of Grove Boulevard (just before the entrance to Roy G. Guerrero Park) & 420 Kemp Street (look for the concrete letters leaning against the fence). Please park in the parking lot at Roy G. or on Kemp Street.
