DESCRIPTION:From the Dimension Gallery –\nJoin us this Saturday afternoon as we mix art and environmental advocacy! In conjunction with Dimension Gallery’s current exhibit\, Inevitable Reckoning\, we’ll be joined by Zach Baumer\, with the City of Austin’s Office of Sustainability\, for a brief presentation of his department’s work followed by an open discussion. \nInevitable Reckoning\, the latest body of work from Austin artist Nick Schnitzer\, includes new sculptural works concerning climate change\, human psychology\, and the inescapable imperatives we all face as Earthlings. \nThe Office of Sustainability provides leadership\, influences positive action through engagement\, and creates measurable benefits for Austin through a variety of programatic opportunities. Come learn about their current efforts and then converse with us! \nThe gallery is open by appointment and on Saturdays 12-6pm through May 12. Kids are welcome and encouraged to attend!
