SUMMARY:Ways of Seeing: A Smartphone Photography Workshop on the Trail - Panorama
DESCRIPTION:Join The Trail Conservancy and FreshAIR Lab for a unique evening on the Ann & Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail where art\, nature\, and photography come together. \nDuring this interactive workshop\, you’ll use the camera already in your pocket—your smartphone—to slow down\, notice the world around you\, and explore the Trail through a new perspective. Guided by FreshAIR Lab founder Cecelia Parker Schoening\, participants will engage with TEMPO on the Trail public art installations while discovering simple photography techniques\, mindful observation\, and creative reflection. \nPanorama focuses on seeing the bigger picture. Using your smartphone’s panorama feature\, you’ll capture sweeping views of the Trail while exploring how public art\, water\, light\, nature\, and community come together to create one connected landscape. It’s an opportunity to slow down\, widen your perspective\, and experience the Trail in a whole new way. \nNo photography experience is necessary—just bring your smartphone\, curiosity\, and comfortable walking shoes!
