DESCRIPTION:Zero Waste Block Leaders (ZWBLs) are engaged residents who are passionate about sustainability and zero waste. They offer their time and knowledge to their friends\, families and neighbors. They share information about recycling\, composting\, repurposing and repairing. \nThis orientation is required to join the Zero Waste Block Leader (ZWBL) program. We will cover the benefits\, expectations and answer any questions. We will also provide an overview of Austin Resource Recovery programs and services. This orientation will be held virtually via Zoom. The link will be sent upon registration. \nOnce you have attended an orientation\, you’re ready to participate in your community! ARR staff will reach out regularly to support you with resources\, information and opportunities.
