SUMMARY:Talk Green To Me: Climate Change
DESCRIPTION:From the City of Austin Office of Sustainability and the Austin Public Library –\nStopping climate change starts at home. A changing climate endangers what we love about Austin in the form of increased extreme events like flooding\, wildfires\, and droughts\, in addition to the rising number of days each year that hit triple digits. But the City of Austin is taking action! Come learn about our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building community resilience\, as well as what you can do to help. \nPresented by: Zach Baumer\, Climate Program Manager for the City of Austin. \nThis event is free and open to the public\, and part of the Austin Public Library’s “Talk Green to Me” series. It will take place in the Demonstration Area on the 1st floor. Can’t make it in person? We’ll be streaming it live on Facebook.  \nLearn more about the event here: https://bit.ly/2lCFAOY
