SUMMARY:Free Class: Organic Veggie Gardening 101
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 6th at 10am – Linda Wall – presents “Organic Veggie Gardening 101.” \nHave you ever wanted to learn how to grow your own food\, but didn’t know where to start?  Linda will walk us through all the basics from soil prep\, to raised beds\, to planting in the right season. Linda grows much of her own food at her home in Spicewood\, land that has been in her family for 4 generations – over 100 years! \nGrowing up\, her family raised all their own food\, and you can watch her continue that tradition on her blog at  TheRedneckHippie.com. In her role as horticulturist at the Natural Gardener\, along with her consulting business (AustinGardenConsultant.com)\, she has helped many new gardeners get started over the years. She loves when they bring in “baby pictures” of their garden and hopes to see photos of yours soon\, too.  Come join us as Linda shares her extensive experience in a wonderful storytelling style.
