You can get your ticket here. \nCasa Marianella has been in Austin since 1986\, starting with a single house and growing into a network of shelters providing safe refuge\, legal support\, medical assistance\, and educational opportunities to thousands of people from countries such as Venezuela\, Democratic Republic of Congo\, Eritrea\, Afghanistan\, Cuba\, and Russia. Casa helps them rebuild their lives and find a new place in the world. For many of them\, home is here in Austin\, Texas. \nThe funds from this year’s concert will go to support Casa’s legal clinic\, which is very busy these days.

DESCRIPTION:Ready\, Set\, Plant! is a volunteer tree-planting program that plants 10\,000 trees each year along Austin’s creeks and rivers. In partnership with the City of Austin and Keep Austin Beautiful\, we educate volunteers on proper tree-planting techniques and riparian restoration. Some benefits of creekside planting include cooler water for aquatic life\, erosion control\, and filtering pollutants from stormwater. Our events are family-friendly and provide an opportunity for community members to connect with Austin’s public lands. \nNo experience or tools are needed. We will train everyone at the beginning of the event\, and provide all tools\, materials\, gloves\, water\, and snacks. \nRSVP to volunteer here.
