DESCRIPTION:Improve your child’s cycling skills on a free\, closed course of 1000 ft of grassy parkland at Kids on Bikes in Parks! Perfect for children ages 5-15\, Kids on Bikes in Parks is open to all cycling skill levels and offers open track time with experienced cyclists. At the top of every hour\, we will have timed laps for kids to test themselves and track their progress! \nRegister here. \nSuggested Times by Experience Level \n\n8 AM: Beginners Wave – This wave is suggested for beginner riders\, those who may still be working on the basic skills of riding a bike. Please note\, we strongly recommend removing training wheels before this event.\n9 AM: Intermediate I Wave – This wave is suggested for intermediate riders\, those who know how to ride but are still working on confidence and cornering abilities.\n10 AM: Intermediate II & Advanced Wave – This wave is suggested for more advanced riders\, those who know how to ride and are looking for opportunities to hone their skills in cornering abilities or in clearing advanced obstacles.\n\nPlease note these waves are not restrictive. Riders of all levels are welcome to start at any time during the event and stay as long as they want. \nNeed a Bike? \nWe will have a fleet of bikes provided by WOOM Bikes on hand for any child wishing to try one or without a bike of their own to ride the course. All participants are eligible to receive some giveaways from Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop and Trek Bikes. \nParents/guardians must remain on-site but can enjoy some cold beverages while supervising their children on the course. Please note: Helmets are required at all times when on a bike.

Make sure to RSVP to this awesome event! You’ll meet some amazing people and bring home some new plant babies! \n PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY. \n What to bring? \n-Healthy plants! Starters\, cuttings\, houseplants\, succulents\, bulbs\, trees\, shrubs\, orchids\, etc. as long as you’re ready to part with them. \n-Clearly labeled plants. (Common name\, botanical name\, care instructions\, etc.) There will be a post on the event page that you can print out and attach to your plants or use as a reference so you can write everything down. \n-Plants in soil\, water or carefully wrapped. \n CHECK YOUR PLANTS FOR MEALY BUGS\, SPIDER MITES\, THRIPS\, ETC! I REPEAT… CHECK YOUR PLANTS! \n No plants to swap? \n It’s okay! \n-You can also bring pots\, macrame\, plant art\, etc. (anything you are willing to part with for a plant works!) \n-There will be a section with some left over plants at the end. \n-Some amazing people are bringing plants for everyone to take home! \n-Come just to socialize and network with awesome plant people! \n-There will be multiple giveaways going on during the event. \nIf you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to an admin. Guided by FreshAIR Lab founder Cecelia Parker Schoening\, participants will engage with TEMPO on the Trail public art installations while discovering simple photography techniques\, mindful observation\, and creative reflection. \nPanorama focuses on seeing the bigger picture. Using your smartphone’s panorama feature\, you’ll capture sweeping views of the Trail while exploring how public art\, water\, light\, nature\, and community come together to create one connected landscape. It’s an opportunity to slow down\, widen your perspective\, and experience the Trail in a whole new way. \nNo photography experience is necessary—just bring your smartphone\, curiosity\, and comfortable walking shoes!
