Join us at one of our two Election Hiring Kickoff events: \n\nWednesday\, August 26 | 6:00–8:00 p.m.\n\n\nSaturday\, August 29 | 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.\n\nLocation: 5501 Airport Blvd\, Austin\, TX 78751 \nWe are hiring Early Voting Poll Workers and Seasonal Internal Election Workers for the November 3 Election. Attend the event to learn about available positions\, interview on the spot\, complete onboarding\, and take the next step toward joining our election team. \nStarting pay is $20 per hour (some positions pay more based on the role). \nWhat to Bring  \nIf you are offered a position\, you will begin the onboarding process at the event. Please bring documentation needed to complete the federal Form I-9. \nCommonly used document options include: \n\nA valid U.S. Passport; or\n\n\nA Texas Driver License (or other acceptable government-issued photo ID)\n\n\n and your Social Security card.\n\nTo save time\, we encourage you to apply before attending the hiring event. Early Voting Poll Workers serve at polling locations throughout the county during the Early Voting period. \nSeasonal Internal Election Workers  \nSupport the behind-the-scenes operations that make elections possible. Temporary positions may include: \n\nBallot by Mail Clerks – Process mail ballot applications and ballots\, perform data entry\, and prepare election mail.\n\n\nCall Center Representatives – Assist voters and election workers by answering questions and directing calls.\n\n\nVoting Equipment Technicians – Prepare\, test\, deliver\, and troubleshoot voting equipment at polling locations.\n\n\nSupply Preparation Workers – Assemble election supplies and deliver materials to polling locations.\n\n\nTrainers – Help train poll workers and support election operations.\n\n\nBox Truck Drivers – Transport voting equipment and supplies to and from polling locations (CDL not required).\n\nPosition Requirements \nEarly Voting Poll Workers  \nTo serve as an Early Voting Poll Worker\, you must: \n\nBe a registered voter in Travis County.\n\n\nReside in Travis County.\n\n\nBe able to attend a training between October 5 and October 29.\n\n\nBe available during the entire early voting period: October 19 – October 30.\n\n\nCriminal background check required.\n\nSeasonal Internal Election Workers  \n\nDo not need to live in Travis County.\n\n\nDo not need to be registered to vote in Travis County.\n\n\nCriminal background check required.\n\n\nBe available from around mid-September through mid-November.\n\nPlease note: This hiring event is only for Early Voting Poll Workers and Seasonal Internal Election Workers.
