DESCRIPTION:Austin continues to face significant infrastructure challenges\, including aging facilities\, growing service demands\, and affordability pressures. \nThe 2026 Bond Program is being developed to address these needs through thoughtful investments that make the most of public dollars and deliver meaningful benefits across the city. \nCommunity input is essential to this process. Your perspective helps ensure the proposed investments reflect Austin’s priorities and guide the recommendations that will be brought forward to City Council and the Mayor. \nYou are invited to participate in a series of open house meetings to learn more about the proposed bond projects and share your feedback. DESCRIPTION:Being and Belonging is an educational pop up series about Asian American history\, culture\, and arts. If you have ever wondered… \n\nWhat are the experiences of Asian Americans in United States? In Texas?\nWhat does it mean to be a part of the Asian American diaspora?\nWhat should the future of Asian America look like?\n\n…then this pop up series is for you! \nBeing and Belonging is open to anyone (ages 18+) who wants to learn in an interactive\, hands-on\, collaborative setting alongside fellow community members. During each session\, we will explore a different topic related to Asian American history through facilitated activities\, guest speakers\, and/or Asian American media. \nParticipants do not need to attend all pop up sessions. They can attend as many or as few as they want. This series is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be provided! \nThe theme of February’s Pop Up will be Belonging & Citizenship.\nWho gets to belong? Who decides who gets to belong? In February’s Being and Belonging Pop Up\, we will explore belonging\, citizenship\, and immigration.
