And new regulations in the City of Austin lay the foundation for a wider range of different cooperative housing options than ever before! \nLocal Housing Cooperative expert Ryan Nill\, who has helped found of La Reunion Cooperative\, Hardy House Co-op\, and Asociación de Residentes North Lamar\, will walk attendees through the new opportunities available for co-op housing\, present models from around the country\, and deliver practical tools to get started creating more cooperative housing right here in Central Texas. \nThe class will include: \n\nModels of ownership\nA 4-factor framework for developing housing cooperatives\nOverview of recent legal reforms that benefit co-ops\nCase studies from a couple of cooperative projects attempting to use those reforms\n\nClass attendees will have the opportunity to schedule FREE coaching and consulting with the instructor and other co-op experts.
