DESCRIPTION:Better buildings mean better lives for all.\nUSGBC’s vision means putting people first. In this inaugural summit\, we will convene and listen to USGBC members\, sustainability advocates\, key social and environmental justice leaders\, and economic and community development experts. \nParticipants will share how their work acts on equity by creating better lives for people and moves the needle for green buildings\, cities\, and communities. Together we look forward at building healthy\, thriving people\, communities\, and cities for all. \nSocial Equity is imperative to create health\, thriving people and lives. It must be deeply embedded into how we hold ourselves accountable as an organization and community. This summit is a call to action to define how we raise the standard of living for all. \nUSGBC will select three presenters as “winners” and feature their ideas at Greenbuild and interview them for a spotlight in a USGBC Equity Report. \nYou can RSVP here. \nCall for Proposals \nShare your vision to raise the living standard for all.
