DESCRIPTION:From the Austin Permaculture Guild –\nJoin us at the Naylor homestead in creating explosive abundance with a weekend permablitz! We’ll create a marketplace garden with berms and swales on contour and integrate goats and chickens as working animals into our design. Come join the fun! \n• The Permablitz will be 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Watch for updates in the case of severe weather (but we are pretty tough!) \n• Lunch will be provided on both days. \n• Bring a tent if you want to do some overnight camping on Saturday. \n• Please bring a water bottle\, gloves\, shovels\, rakes\, hoes\, pick axes\, wheel barrows\, etc. if you have them! \n* Thank you for leaving your pets at home. * \nA permablitz is a community organized and supported event to spread permaculture design\, practice\, and implementation through out the Central Texas Area. \nOur goal is to increase awareness of food production and sustainability throughout the community. \nSuggested $10 Donation (optional)\nDonation covers the costs of food\, plants\, cover crops\, mulch\, and soil amendments for this or future permabltizes.Let’s keep these events monetarily sustainable!
