Hopper Bars Pre-Kickstarter Party

Something beautiful is happening in Austin. The birth of a new industry which combines everything which is great about this city: innovation, out-of-the-box thinking and food! Experience some of the fruits of the blossoming Austin edible insects scene at the Hopper Bars pre-Kickstarter party on Tuesday, July 8th at in.gredients.

You’ll get to try Hopper Bars – a new all natural energy bar made with cricket flour right here in Austin, Texas – before they even hit stores, plus you’ll learn about their Kickstarter campaign that kicks off July 23rd. And you can even start contributing early just by drinking beer: in.gredients will donate $1 of every pint of Circle’s HOP OVERBOARD sold that night to the campaign. Win win!

In addition to the Hopper Bars, there will be plenty of other edible insects to sample. Harman from World Entomophagy will be cooking up some spicy teriyaki crickets, caramelized crickets & mealworms on banana cricket pancakes. And the ladies behind the new “Crickers” will be onsite sampling out their new cricket cracker for all to enjoy.
