02 Mar Aiden Cohen, Commercial Recycling Program Manager at the City of Austin on Shades of Green Energy Radio

 This Thursday on Shades of Green Energy Radio we are looking forward to our guest, Aiden Cohen.  Cohen is the Commercial Recycling Program Manager for the City of Austin.  He is also a Board Member at Net Impact Austin and on the Steering Committee for the Responsible Purchasing Network (RPN).

Currently, Aiden serves as the Manager for Commercial Recycling and Resource Recovery Programs for the City of Austin’s Solid Waste Services Department.  He is responsible for the successful implementation of the City’s new Universal Recycling Ordinance. So we hope to hear some recycling tips to help keep us as close to zero waste as possible in our own homes.

Aiden has been the Sustainability Senior Buyer in the City of Austin’s Central Purchasing Office with responsibility for implemented Austin’s Responsible (Green) Purchasing Program.  So maybe we’ll get some tips from him on useful green products too.
