David Foster–a Dallas native who has lived in Austin since 1983. Foster resided for several years in Europe and received an MA in Modern European History from UT Austin in 1989. He went to work for Clean Water Action (CWA) in 1995, became its Texas Program Director in 2004, and coordinates CWA’s public outreach to Texas communities and public officials. Clean Water Action’s current focus in Texas is on water conservation and clean energy.

Sharon Wilson–considered the leading citizen expert on the DF/W area Barnett Shale and the go-to person for top EPA officials, national and international news networks, environmental organizations, and residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the environmental effects of natural gas development on their property. As a landowner and mineral owner, Sharon spent years educating others about environmental damage caused from weak regulation and lax enforcement. She then joined forces with EARTHWORKS’ Oil and Gas Accountability Project. Twelve years spent working in the Oil & Gas industry has given Sharon the unique perspective of knowing both sides intimately.

Scott Anderson–Senior Policy Advisor for Environmental Defense Fund’s (EDF) Energy Program since 2005. He has served as EDF’s point person on policies relating to natural gas development and to the geological sequestration of carbon dioxide. Anderson is the former Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association (TIPRO) and was the long-time Secretary of the LIAISON Committee of Cooperating Oil and Gas Associations. He was previously a member of the governing Council of the State Bar of Texas Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Section. Anderson works on a broad array of legislative and regulatory issues for EDF, and participates in stakeholder groups focused on reducing the environmental footprint of natural gas operations.
