Join us in The Happy Kitchen Herb Garden to learn how to plant, care for and harvest herbs. We’ll harvest our summer herbs and prepare the beds for fall and winter ones. Information learned in this class will be applicable to gardeners growing in pots and in the ground.
After the gardening portion of the class, we’ll go into the kitchen and use the herbs to prepare a variety of fragrant, herb-scented, seasonal dishes. We will also cover handling, storing and drying herbs for later use.
Details:
The entire class will be active, so please eat beforehand and dress for the garden and kitchen (closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty, hair tie for long hair).
