Preservation Austin's popular series returns, How to Green Your Historic Home.  Learn to improve energy savings while maintaining the historic integrity of your home. 
In this session, presenters John Hindman with Red River Restorations and Nathan Doxsey, a custom homebuilder specializing in green design, will discuss:

  • Where and how to use insulation,
  • Retrofitting and maintaining HVAC systems,
  • Weather stripping,
  • Maintaining windows and doors,
  • Interior and exterior window shading.
