What: Climate-Com From the Media Panel and Presentation
When: Sun., 10.6.13 – 3:30pm-7pm
Where: Scholz Beirgarten, 1607 San Jacinto Blvd., North meeting room
Why: A panel discussion on how we can change the way we communicate climate science and facts to the public through the media, particularly broadcast meteorologists. Featuring Jim Spencer of KXAN-TV and Kris Wilson, PhD of UT School of Journalism. Also, a presentation on climate in Texas by Alyssa Burgin, Texas Drought Project.
